MORE ABOUT KYRA
Conflict is normal and regularly impacts us in life: including in the workplace, education and sport environments. I believe that applying practical and respectful processes to deal with conflict is integral to the success of organizations and relationships. I work with clients to determine the best approach to each specific conflict and then participate in facilitating the process to bring about the best resolution; whether the situation requires a collaborative process like mediation and conflict coaching or a more formal fact finding investigation. I have been a member of the Law Society of BC and the Mediate BC Civil Roster of mediators since 2005. In September 2022, I was appointed by the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner as an Independent Investigation and Assessor member of the OSIC Investigation Unit and Sport Environment Assessment Unit.
As a lawyer, mediator, trainer, workplace investigator and conflict coach, I have assisted clients with matters in the public and private sector, in unionized and non-unionized environments, and in non-profit and for-profit organizations. My clients include post-secondary institutions, sport organizations of all sizes, crown corporations, health authorities, unions, and large and small businesses - each with their own conflict resolution needs. I look forward to hearing from you.
